Tengo entendido que en todo el Reino Unido hay una iglesia al menos por cada barrio. Y teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de nacionalidades que conviven en este país, me atrevo a decir que también habrá templos, mezquitas y sinagogas a montones. 

A apenas cinco minutos a pie de donde vivo, se sitúa la Christ Church West Wimbledon. No es una iglesia espectacular de tamaño, ni su arquitectura es especialmente destacable, pero tiene ese aire de siglos pasados que parece flotar por toda Inglaterra, y que algunas veces se hace más notable que otras. 

Fue construida en 1859, por lo que en realidad no es tan antigua, pero creo que los ladrillos de piedra y las nervaduras de la construcción, hacen al edificio mucho más interesante de lo que a simple vista podría parecer.

I have understood that throughout the UK there is a church at least every neighborhood. And considering the number of nationalities living in this country, I dare say there will be temples, mosques and synagogues in droves.
A mere five-minute walk from where I live, it is placed the Christ Church West Wimbledon. It's not a spectacular size church, nor its architecture is particularly remarkable, but it has that air of centuries past that seems to float across England, and is sometimes more noticeable than others.
It was built in 1859, so it's really not so old, but I think the brick stones and ribs make the building much more interesting than it might seem at first glance.
